Hi! My name is Crisly Mae Villarin. Here in Glats, they call me Teacher Crisly. I took up Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education. The experiences I had during my four years in college gave me enough idea on the essence of teaching. I enjoyed every single day I had spent with my students when I had my on the job training (OJT). Starting from teaching college students up to teaching elementary kids. They told me that I am a career-ready person, because they learned a lot of things from me and that made me believe in myself that I could be a teacher someday.
I am into watching English movies like science fiction and horror. When I have some spare time, I play with my cousins, nieces and nephews. I have a very big family. Whenever I am with my cousins, nieces and nephews, we usually have a role play about having a class where I play the role of a teacher and they are my students. That is always the set-up in our house during weekends or vacation days. I fell in love with English movies when I was in high school, the first English movie that I fell in love with was the movie ""In Time"", starring Justin Timberlake. Before, I actually didn't like English but when I started watching English movies, I realized it was fun because I could learn at the same time. Also, my English teachers showed me how passionate they were in teaching English. English as they say is the universal language. You can communicate with foreign people using the English Language and it connects people. We can share our ideas, cultures and beliefs through the English language. It has a lot of usage and I want you to be able to use those advantages.
Come and join my class! I am very friendly and bubbly. I make my class very interactive and jolly at the same time. I always do respect my students' opinions and point of view. I actually see each of them as a person who can stand up for what they believe is right. I see them as unique individuals who can learn a lot of things in different ways. I actually have Japanese friends and I have enjoyed their company when they were here in the Philippines. When I was with them, they actually opened my eyes on understanding different culture, beliefs and people.
